I held my mechanical engineering bachelor degreee in 2020 at the Federal University of Ceará (UFC), Campus do Pici. However, before that I had already worked a lot in the automotive area, since 2008 more precisely, when I started as an intern in a group of dealerships. I did parts inspections. A little over 1 year later I was already apprenticed as a mechanic at a Volkswagen dealership. After that, I migrated to Pinto Martins Airport, to the SATA ground support company, where I maintained heavy machinery, such as tractors, loaders, cars and push-backs. After that period I took an engineering internship, inside a car factory, Ford-Troller, in the quality control sector. It was there that I got the six sigma certification for quality improvement projects and became a product inspector, where I did dynamic and static tests on finished vehicles. I decided that I wanted to dedicate myself more to the academic part and I left Troller. I transferred my course from the University of Fortaleza – Unifor to UFC and got involved in scientific research. First in an internal combustion engine laboratory, where dynamometer tests were carried out, then I migrated to the vibration laboratory, where I participated in the development, together with my colleagues, of solid research on vibrations in brake systems. My work was the analysis of the stick-slip phenomenon and the brake squeal in drum brakes. The research resulted in four publications in international scientific journals. After graduating, start a masters in materials to continue my brake research. However, the opportunity for a master’s degree at the Università di Modena e Reggio Emilia (Unimore) attracted me because it was an old goal of mine and because I didn’t have a similar opportunity in Brazil. I am a Master of Science in Advanced Automotive Engineering with a Racing Car Design curriculum, Formula One scholarship student from 2021 to 2023 and with experience in a Formula One team. Additionally, I was one of about 10 scholarship holders awarded by the top category of motorsport. Carros Infoco is a website or blog where I leave a little of what I know about automobiles.
